AIM
To provide delegates with an understanding of:–

• Responsibilities of Individuals
• The Safety Management System
• The legal, moral and financial reasons for good health and safety standards
• Understanding the reasons for Risk Assessment Method Statement
• Hazard identification and how to respond

OBJECTIVES
By the end of the training delegates will:–

• Have an understanding of individuals responsibilities in Health and Safety
• Have an understanding of the Company Safety Management System
• Have an understanding of the most relevant construction health and safety legislation
• Be aware of their responsibilities for health and safety and the role of the HSE
• Appreciate the growing importance the Company attaches to health and safety through Risk Assessment method Statement / Task Sheets
• Be able to identify Hazards and take the appropriate action
