NEW WORKING AT HEIGHT REGUALTIONS
COURSE DURATION HALF DAY
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Anyone who has previously attended a working at height course.
The course is designed for operatives, supervisors and managers who as part of their role must carry out work on a roof or at height or supervise others who are undertaking work at height.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Falls from height are the biggest cause of fatal and serious injuries in construction. They account for 50% of all deaths. Many accidents involve falls from roofs, through fragile materials, from ladders and from leading edges.
AIMS
Delegates will be able to state their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and that of their employers.
