NOISE AND VIBRATION (HAVS)

COURSE OVERVIEW
Employers have a statutory duty to control noise and protect their workers and other persons from its effects. Noise is also a source of annoyance and disruption and may directly or indirectly lead to an increase in the risk of accidents. The regular and prolonged use of hand held tools, particularly those, which are of a rotary, or percussive nature can cause the users to suffer various forms of damage.

Managers and supervisors who require a general overview of the health and safety issues and how they can affect health.
AIMS
To provide managers and supervisors with the skills and knowledge of how to reduce the risk of damage to health of all staff.
